La Baguette D'or

Passing through Palavas, we found this little bakery and received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent, with reasonable prices. The desserts were fabulous. I highly recommend this bakery.

Unbeatable value for money. Their sandwiches are delicious and the staff are really friendly. I recommend them 100%.

Aside from the sourdough baguette, which is crusty and well-baked, it's very expensive and frankly awful. The quiche really tastes (if it even has any taste at all, pardon) of lower than low quality, and the sandwich isn't much better. We only went there as a last resort because we didn't know the area, unfortunately. I should have listened to my gut feeling, which told me to turn right around as soon as I walked in and saw the products on the shelf.

Food poisoning after eating a chicken curry quiche. I strongly advise against it!

Two unpleasant salespeople, poor hygiene – the saleswoman handled our cookies and other items without gloves, her nails dirty. Flies everywhere in the display case – it's a disgrace! Run away!

This establishment should be avoided at all costs! There were rats and the vendor didn't even use tongs, he served with his big hairy hands. There needs to be a hygiene inspection; this bakery should be shut down!

A very bad experience. The staff were unpleasant and unhelpful from the moment we arrived. We were refused entry under the pretext of a lack of space, even though the room was half empty. There were no amenities on site: no toilets, which is unacceptable for an establishment open to the public.

I stopped there for my break and I highly recommend it.

It's become our essential morning ritual with my colleague. We regularly stop by for freshly squeezed orange juice, a croissant, a pain au chocolat, or other sweet treats. The welcome is always warm, the service is quick, and the products are high quality. It's truly lovely to start the day with this little gourmet break; I highly recommend it!
