Le Big Bahut ｜ Montpellier

No raw vegetables in my burger, and my veggie patty, supposed to be "beyond meat," was actually a potato rosti. The portion of fries wasn't very generous. Too bad, it was good :(

This restaurant is okay; it would fit right in at Port Marianne, but I don't think it reflects the Beaux-Arts atmosphere. The food is alright.

Oh dear, what happened to Big Bahut? Our favorite burger place since they opened, we always get at least the breaded chicken burger. Last visit in April, perfect. Visited yesterday, big change! The menu and prices: quite an increase, but honestly, it's understandable, as we used to find the prices very affordable. And if the quality is there, why not? However, nothing was the same! The breaded chicken burger: it used to be a beautiful chicken fillet where you could see the fibers, with a good chew, you could feel the muscle, the breading was uneven and "homemade" with something that resembled cornflakes... Gone, none of that. The piece of chicken was full of water and fat, mushy and extremely salty, with unidentifiable pieces somewhere between fat and sinew. Like cheap chicken fillets, with a greasy, salty, and uniform breading (industrial breaded chicken like you see everywhere!). The bread was crumbly and so dry you could choke on it. The heat probably didn't help, but still. The fries were good but dry... it wasn't the same variety of potato as usual. So either we went on a bad day and their usual suppliers were all on vacation, or there's been a change in management, or a significant drop in quality. We usually finish our meals wanting more, but this is the last time. What a shame. The service was very friendly as usual, but they were quickly overwhelmed even though there were only three of them. Our plates weren't cleared, and no one asked us if everything was alright. Otherwise, I would have liked to discuss it with them. *Edit: Well, stomach ache and rumbling the next day....

The service and atmosphere were pleasant, however the pizzas were really lacking in flavor, the ingredients were tasteless. It would be nice if you made an effort. Thank you.

Good atmosphere. Good quality burgers. A bit pricey.

A very pleasant restaurant, the ice cream is good, the classic big ice cream is also very good, and the waitresses are friendly.

Food was very good, friendly service, highly recommended.

If I had to recommend a gluten-free burger in Montpellier, it would be this one without hesitation. The staff is fantastic and friendly, and the decor is great. I highly recommend it!

A great atmosphere with excellent quality burgers at a very reasonable price. And the art school is fantastic too!
