La Cantina

The food is delicious, vegetarian, and original. It's beautifully presented. The service is friendly. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. You'll be warmly welcomed. The location is unique; the restaurant is in a colorful shipping container on Place Neruda in La Valsière. There's also a terrace. It's kid-friendly! A community-run restaurant, committed to reducing food waste and supporting social and cultural causes. My last visit was after Carnival (March 2026) to enjoy a delicious buckwheat crepe and a drink with fellow Carnival revelers!

As a local resident, I'm a regular at La Cantina and I can recommend it wholeheartedly. Their vegetarian cuisine is healthy, very tasty, original, and the portions are more than generous. The service is excellent; you can eat in or take away and bring your own containers. In addition to great food, it's a socially and environmentally conscious place that prioritizes local and seasonal products. It's also open on Saturdays for lunch, and in the evenings there are often concerts or other events. Kudos to the team at La Cantina and thank you for these delicious dishes.
